Fly-in Spay/Neuter Clinic

April 22nd-April 25th, 2016, Save A Dog Network Canada will be hosting our very first fly-in Spay/Neuter Clinic!

With the help of Dr. Jonas Watson, we will be headed to York Landing First Nation (over 900km north of Winnipeg, by Thompson) to sterilize the dogs (and few cats) who reside in this community.

Each dog will be vet checked, fixed, vaccinated for Parvo/Distemper/Rabies (boosters for anyone we vaccinated in January) and dewormed. We will also be providing collars and numbered ID tags that we will use to register the dogs and help the community regulate the owned dogs who roam.

We really feel this will make a huge impact in this community. In just 5 short months, we’ve been able to remove a large majority of unwanted and injured dogs (over 60 since November) and vaccinate/deworm the owned dogs who live there. Naturally, our next step is to fix every dog living there, while educating and provide resources to the community to self-regulate the dog population. This will be long term and we will be there to support them the entire way.

We can’t do this without your support.

Donations via etransfer can be made to with the password “YORKLANDING” or email or call 204-899-5809 for more ways to donate!

$50 sponsors a family who cannot afford the cost to fix their pet. Help “Save A Dog, today!”
