Our rescue does not do adoptions, never have and never will. Our focus is the front line-providing an actual solution to the over population of dogs in Manitoba, while educating and networking with amazing rescues who do complete adoptions with the dogs we rescue.

In just a couple days, we are headed up to Split Lake, MB (Tataskweyak Cree Nation), 900km north of Winnipeg to fix, vaccinate and deworm the local, owned dogs and remove the unwanted dogs and puppies who need new homes!

We are currently looking for temporary foster homes IN WINNIPEG, who are interested in caring for our rescue dogs, until they can be transported outside the province-to adopting rescues who will complete their journey and find them a forever home.

All food, vetting and supplies paid for by Save A Dog, you provide the love, for 2-3 weeks max.

There are many wonderful rescue groups in Manitoba who have the option to adopt or “foster fail”... ours leave the province, no matter what.

Please make sure our rescue is right for you, and if you want to help us by being a temporary foster home, please send us an email to saveadognetwork@gmail.com! #saveadognetwork #fostering #rescuedogs #splitlake #tempfostersneeded

All you need is love 💕

We are two weeks into having Isgwideh! (Ish-kwi-day) 4 weeks since his accident. We are beyond happy to see a beautiful, friendly, playful pup shine through finally! We knew there was a reason we hung on. He wasn’t ready to give up-so we decided to save him. What a beautiful decision that was!

We have a long ways to go with his healing but as you can see, these bees truly know best! Thanks Dr Samyra and the Central Vet team for continuing his bandage changes and monitoring his healing. We are so grateful!!

Not only has this dog been given a second chance, he has opened so many doors for us and became the connection for some awesome new friendships. We are so blessed! 💕
